Candle Care

You have come to the right place for all things candle care! To avoid injury and fire & ensure a proper, fragrance-filled burn:

Wicked Candles

  • Always trim the wick down to 1/4" prior to lighting
  • Allow candle to burn long enough to ensure a proper memory burn and avoid tunneling in the future
  • Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time
  • Allow to cool completely between burns to maintain even burns
  • Only burn under responsible supervision, never leaving the candle unattended
  • Keep away from reach of pets and children
  • Burn on a flat surface away from flammable objects

Wax Melts

  • Remove all packaging before use
  • Use only in approved tea light burner or electric burner approved for wax melts
  • Follow all instructions provided by your warmer
  • Never leave warmer unattended while in use
  • Do not burn longer than 3 hours
  • DO NOT EAT or add water
  • Keep out of reach of pets and children
  • Discontinue use if dish contains less than 1/2" of wax

We use high quality soy wax in our container candles and wax melts. Due to the nature of soy wax, the surface may ripple upon cooling and “frosting” may occur on the sides of clear jar candles. There is nothing wrong with the candle. It is perfectly normal. To ensure the best burn and avoid "tunneling", allow wicked candle to burn completely to the edge of the container on the first light. This will typically be 3-4 hours but will vary candle to candle, roughly 1" candle diameter per hour. Please check out our social media accounts for visuals on what candles and wax melts look like throughout the burn process, how we make our products, and more information on candle care!
